Hello shay, I am 53 years old and in good health. I got laid off from my job in Nov 2018 and have been looking for work outside of the home but absolutely no luck. I have a desktop, smartphone, laptop and pretty good at typing but not the speed they are looking for. I came across your website and it is very informative. I am desperately seeking employment and don’t mind working from home since I am here alone everyday anyway. I dont have any income so cant afford the app that you have to pay for. Can you send me any customer service jobs that actually hire. Thank you for all your assistance during this difficult time.

Hi, I am 54 years old (female) disabled. I do not drive so it’s very hard finding a job to supplement my social security which is not nearly enough anymore to live on. I could really use your help. I am good with people and I also worked in medical records for a retirement facility, so if too much hasn’t changed in this field, I have experience with coding patience files. Being able to find something here and actually begin working from home would be the best thing I could hope for. Thanks

    23. Rosalind Bond

Do you have a list of Customer Service positions, part time? Almost every job I tried to apply for wants Independent Contractors. When I try to look up info on how to become a Contractor, I never get a clear answer, as far as what licenses needed. Help!

      1. Lashay H.

Hi Rosalind! Yes I would suggest checking out sites like NexusOP, Working Solutions, Alorica at Home, and Liveops. An independent contractor is best described as a person who is responsible for managing their own taxes. Most times the work may be temporary, part-time, or seasonal. Depending on the company you may be required to pay for your background check and incorporation. So the fees may vary. If you need more info about a specific company, I will be glad to help 🙂

        1. Rosalind Bond

Thank you so much Lashay for getting back to me so quickly. I will try those businesses.

I work for Verafast. I made a couple of good pay checks but the call flow has been slow and I am not sure when things will pick up. This company is a start. I also believe Convergys may hire you.

Hi Paige, I also work for NexusOp, I am a new agent. But, like you said, their support system is great; they always answer any question I may have and do it thoroughly. It didn’t take me long to catch on and the weekly pay is super!
