Just wanted to say that “Blogmutt” is now “Verblio” and the base rate for 300 words is 10.50. The overhaul on the site has been tremendous.

Good day. I’m from the Caribbean and I was looking for freelance writing jobs. Do you guys know of any writer’s sites for people living outside of the US?

    1. Lashay H.

Hi Avianna! Have you searched for writing jobs on freelance sites like Upwork.com, Guru.com, and Peopleperhour.com?

WritersDomain isn’t a scam and you get a decent pay rate compared to other sites. They pay you once a month on the 5th via PayPal and if you earn more than $600 (in the US) you’ll need to report it for taxes. In the end, it’s a part time gig. Personally, I see this and yoolotto (http://bit.ly/2H76E2l) as my go income streams to help pay bills.

How can i search writing job or part time job from on line? I am not the one with primary language is English.
Thank you so much for updated information.

I wrote for Writer’s Domain for two years. At first, I absolutely loved it and within a few weeks, they offered me a spot writing premium articles. At that time they paid $40 for 600 word premium articles, paid out to PayPal with a minimum of $100 on your account, and had super fast review times. All that changed in the last 6 months to a year. They are paying less than $20 for premium articles, their review times went from minutes to weeks (literally) and rather than being able to choose from hundreds of article topics, you’re lucky to find one a day! So…I’m looking for a new primary job. I’m really pretty much disgusted by WD and I really don’t recommend even bothering.

Thank you for the list! I just got hired at Copify!

      You are so welcome! Congrats!

Lashay, I don’t see WriteDom in your list – https://writedom.com/get-paid-to-write. I have been working with them for a couple of months and have not had any complains yet. This company offers jobs for writers that specialize in different fields of knowledge – life sciences, math, humanities, etc. It is not for beginners, but if you are confident about your knowledge, you can make good money.

about.com is now dotdash….???? And can’t find anywhere on there to apply to create content.

    1. Lashay H.

Yes, I just noticed that the past week. I’m assuming would find any available opportunities on their careers page here http://jobs.jobvite.com/dotdash/

  9. Lashay H.

Thanks for the update Richard! I have removed them 🙂

  10. Omar S Kenawy

Your list needs to be updated cause it has some broken links like Break Studios and Coffeebreakforwriters.

    1. Lashay H.

Hi Omar! Thanks for informing me. I have updated the list of writing opportunities. Much appreciated 🙂

  11. Tricia

If your looking for a legit writers start DO NOT join freelancers.com They used to be legit but a bunch of fake projects are up now and a bunch of scammers took over.

  12. Edusson

One more site: http://edusson.com/writer – this is a great opportunity for a bright person who is interested in academic writing, education innovations and can write / blog a lot about what he/she likes, articles, guides and to be a writing coach.

    1. Lashay H.

Thanks a lot for sharing 🙂
