Who is Lashay Hudson?

Some of you may be wondering, besides being a blogger, who is Lashay? First and foremost, I am caring wife to my loving husband with whom God has blessed us with three beautiful children. I am also the author of “The Work from Home Path: A Complete Guide to Finding and Landing A Real Money-Making Job,” a book dedicated to guide and help you achieve success in your work from home job.

My Work at Home Journey

Every story has a beginning and mine started in the year of 2008. This was after a thorough evaluation of our family’s situation when my husband and I saw it best I stay at home with the kids. Rather than sitting and staying idle when not looking after the kids, I decided to look for a work from home job. It was then that my home profession began.

It was never easy at first. Being new to the scene, I fell for many online scams that seemed promising at the time. The one that keeps coming back to me is the “Posting Ads for Cash” scam. I put all my energy and hard work to the job only to realize it was too good to be true. All I did was lose valuable countless hours and a lot of cash. In my search, I also found businesses without genuine names who asked for your personal information and others requested money to get a job.

It was not all scams though. I found some legitimate work from home companies that gave me hope. It was then that I was enlightened to help others avoid being scammed. I, therefore, began a blog which would direct people in the right direction in their search for work from home jobs.

My sole purpose is to help others succeed and be an inspiration to the younger generation. Speaking of making money from home, check out a few of my popular posts:

    Hi Lashay!

I live in the Philippines and working in a call center. Planning to switch into a homebased job, however, I don’t own a computer. So it will be done in an internet shops. Just a few steps from my home.

Maybe you can help me look for online works that does not require phone in, nor software downloads.

I am a fast, accurate typist. I am very proficient with all Microsoft office applications such as Word, Powerpoint, and Excel (basic functions only). I have a lot of previous experience with data entry.

    Thank you.

Yes, Cathy! Providing personal details help them assign testing opportunities that will be of interest to you. I have had no problems with the company sharing my personal details.

    Hi Lashay,

Thanks for the emails. I enjoy reading your emailing. However, I haven’t came across what I’m looking for. I’m actually looking for a company that allows business owners to hire people . Something like a small call center. Something like arise or liveops. (but not those))))) similar but a little more easier to get your foot into the door. Thanks in advance

Hi, Kia! Thanks for reaching out. Are you looking for something part-time, flexible, or full-time hours? To be honest, I think it would best to attend the job fair coming up on Thursday. There will be more than 20 companies interviewing participants throughout the day.

To get hired fast, really depends on how urgent a company needs to hire. You can always check out sites like Convergys, Sitel, Working Solutions, Nexus Op, ACD Direct, etc. since they are almost always looking for new people.

    Hi Lashay,

First I just want to say thank you for providing all of these resources for people such as myself who need them. Recently my daughters daycare closed which left me relying on my Grandma to watch her until I got off work (about 3 hours or so) but just recently, last Thursday to be exact she fell and broke her hip in 3 places. I had already registered my daughter for pre-k and is almost through with Headstart and is also enrolled in dance where we live so I am not about to pull her out of school this far into the school year just to move her to an unknown daycare in the town where I work for convenience. I am a single mom and have been for 4 years. Your website has been absolutely helpful to me the past few days, as a matter of fact I have an interview with The Chat Shop tomorrow at 10a.m. and I have my fingers crossed so hard they might just cramp up on me lol. Anyways, from someone who you are definitely helping through a tough transition I just wanted to say thank you so much and keep up the great work!

Hi Sandy! Thank you so much 🙂 I can check into that and let you know. Did you already take the test twice?
