In today's society, having a job with employee benefits is important especially if you have small children. I have gathered a list of remote companies that offer their workers hourly pay plus employee benefits. New companies are added to the bottom of the list as I find them.

Work at Home Jobs with Employee Benefits

1. Sykes Home (formerly known as Alpine Access)

A virtual call center company that employs hardworking customer service agents who are willing to work homebased. Hourly rate is $9/hr. They charge $45 for a background check. Application process is about 1-2 weeks.

Employee Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision plans are available for employees. For long-term employees they offer a 401k retirement plan.

2. Apple At Home 

Apple, a multinational tech company, has a work from home call center program that hires full-time or part-time Call Center Agents who are college and non-students. You must be within one hundred (100) miles of specific locations. Check their site for more details.

Employee Benefits: Apple provides great benefits package, competitive pay, and discount on Apple products.

3. Asurion 

Hires work-at-home agents as employees for various customer care positions in the United States. Bilingual and Spanish agents are much needed. Asurion pays their customer care agents around $9 per hour.

4. ABC Financial 

This is a work at home company that hires people to handle customer service calls for their gym members. The pay is around $11.82 per hour. This opportunity is only available to those that live near Sherwood, Arkansas. All you will need is high speed Internet, no land line phone, and ABC would provide everything else.

5. 1-800-Contacts 

Hires home-based customer service agents located within 50 miles of Draper, UT. The pay is $10/hr plus incentives.

Employee Benefits: Full-time customer service agents are eligible for medical, dental, and life insurance. Part-Time employees will get vision, emergency assistance, tuition reimbursement, and 401k.

6. 1-800-Flowers

New York-based flower company hires temporary, seasonal, and permanent call center agents. They only hire in certain states. Visit the website for more details. 7. Amazon.com

Amazon, an electronic ecommerce company, hires customer service agents who are willing to work part-time. Salary is $10-$12 per hour. Click on this Amazon page and look up for a variety of positions you can easily apply online.

Full-time employees are provided with benefits, such as stock, time off, and employee discount, and resources to support employee growth and development.

8. American Airlines 

AA is hiring home-based reservation agents. A ten- week on-site training is required. Pay starts at $9.50/hr. Health and Dental Insurance package is available for employees. The company only hires in Cary, NC, Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX, and Tucson, and AZ metro areas.

AA offers various employee benefits such as health and dental insurance, paid vacation, and travel privileges.

9. The Active Network

The Active Network is a company that hires people to work at home, helping with sports reservation requests. pay was roughly $8.25 per hour.

10. Alorica (formerly known as APAC)

Advise Tech only hires customer service reps in the U.S. The pay is $10 hourly for work at home agents. All employees receive paid training and also may qualify for other benefits.

11. Convergys 

Convergys, an information management company, is willing to hire virtual call center agents who can take incoming calls. Agents will be trained for customer service, sales or technical support.

The company provides employee benefits such as paid training, medical plans, paid time off, and life insurance.

12. GE Retail Finance

GE is in need of bilingual and Spanish CSRs (Client Service Reps) who will review and analyze the clients' credit applications and credit bureau information. 

13. Hilton Hotels 

Hilton hires work from home hotel reservation agents for their Dallas and Tampa offices. New hires receive technical support and training. Bilingual agents can earn $1 more hourly for some positions. 

They provide employee benefits, and most positions are part-time so you will receive paid time off and employee discounts.

14. HSN.com 

The Home Shopping Network provides a range of work from home call center jobs. They hire agents who are willing to take inbound calls in customer service and sales. The jobs are offered in FL, Nashville, Roanoke, St. Petersburg, VA, and TN.

15. JetBlue

Airline hires home-based reservations crew members to provide customer service. Bilingual ability may be required for some call center jobs. Travel to Salt Lake City, UT, office may be required. Employee Benefits This company offers life, disability, medical, dental, vision and prescription insurance, flexible spending account, 401k, profit sharing and discounts on travel.

16. Neiman Marcus

This company is looking to hire work from home call center agents who are willing to work mostly for temporary or seasonal positions. Bilingual agents are hired on a permanent basis. 17. New Corp

An extended warranty company that is willing to pay work from home customer care reps at $9-10 per hour to take in-bound calls. They hire both work-at-home and office-based call center agents to troubleshoot and provide customer service for its clients. Hires bilingual/Spanish agents too. Employee Benefits: Full-time employees receive six days of paid time off. For those who work 30 hours per week or more, the PTO days are prorated based on the number of hours. 18. Sitel [email protected] 

They have work from home program for call center agents. They provide professional training at home for applicants situated in the U.S.

The benefits include paid vacation and holidays, medical and dental benefits for full-time employees, and 401(K).

21. Sedgwick CMS  

This private company is hiring customer service agents who are willing to deal with claims filed through different tasks. There is a two training class that must be completed from home.  The starting pay for independent contractors is around $10 per hour. I have read that this company offers one of the best benefits packages.

Benefits Included: Pays for internet/phone expenses; Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance; Provides you with all the computer equipment you need to get started.
