Job Responsibilities at Smith.ai

Some main responsibilities will be answering phones and webchat. Answering phones might be one of the top responsibilities and taking notes during those phone calls will be extremely important as well. Assistants also need to know how to transfer those phone calls to their clients in case it is a serious enough person on the other line. 

Booking client's appointments and learning their schedules would be a significant responsibility to pick up as well. Depending on the client, you may also be in charge of collecting payments from people on behalf of your client.

Assistants will need to have a good grasp on their client's business so they can either get a customer the right answer or be able to direct them to where they can find the answer they are looking for.
