What to Include in a Resume for Remote Jobs

If you want to beat the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), it is important to realize the software is not sophisticated enough to read infographics, photos, images, or graphs. Instead, you will want to include this information.
- Name and contact information

- Skills summary with technical proficiencies
- Work history in reverse chronological order (be sure to include action statements rather than just listing responsibilities)
- Education and training
If you have room within the recommended one page because you are lacking work history or have large gaps in employment, you can include additional sections. After all, experience is experience whether it is paid or not.

What to Include in a References Page
