Sell Your Song Lyrics

If you consider yourself a good songwriter, think about selling your song lyrics for extra money. There are plenty of legit websites that will allow you to do this so you can work from home.

Some sites will pay to license your songs while others will allow you to set your own sale price or pay you 100% of the royalties your song makes if it sells.

Interested in selling your song lyrics? These are the sites you'll want to check out:

Market Your Skills on Fiverr

Fiverr is a popular site to find people offering gig services from all over the world. Most services start at just $5 and some of the popular tasks involve web or logo design, writing, and editing but there's a wide variety of tasks offered on the site.

At my old job, my boss paid someone on Fiverr to create cat videos with the company's logo to market the brand.

There are quite a few singers offering to create songs, write rap lyrics, or cover songs or jingles created by others for cash. It can be a lucrative side business and some even make a full-time living from Fiverr so it's worth s try.

Offer Voice Lessons or Freelance Services

If you like to teach and are really good at singing, you can offer online voice lessons for each cash. Sites like Upwork allow you to offer freelance services or pitch for available gigs.

Aside from voice lessons with students, you can also lend your voice to help with certain projects or song covers.

Voice over artists and singers start their rates at around $90 – $100 per hour and many have earned thousands from Upwork alone.

Sell a Singing Course

Thanks to sites like Teachable and Udemy, you can now create your own digital course to sell online. I've seen courses cover a variety of different topics. So it's no surprise that there is a demand for singing courses as well.

You can share your vocal techniques, warm-up routine, voice essentials, and more.

Stream Your Music & Get Paid

This is a great option for singers who record and produce their own music. You can allow your music or a snippet of the song to be streamed on Soundcloud. Then you can share a link to your album or mixtape on your profile so people can buy it.

Soundcloud also has features to share your songs through social media as well. The more views you get, the better your chances are to get sales.

If you're a pretty good singer and you're passionate about it, you don't have to be a starving artist. You can work from home singing and creating music and make a good amount of money too.

I love to sing. I’ve been singing since I was a little girl. My mom would have me to sing in front of her company, they loved it. My musical journey started when I sang The Jackson Five’s “I’ll Be There”. I imitated other artists like Smokey Robinson, Helen Reddy, you name it, I could do it. I love to sing R & B, gospel, blues. Singing is my passion. Growing up, I sang in church, myneighborhood block parties. I even entered my high school senior talent show.

Today, I still love to sing. I just hate that I didn’t pursue and make a career of it. If you want to hear a sample of my singing, go to njmusiclady64 on YouTube.

    Peace & Blessings
