Sometimes this can be a big obstacle for those that want a home based phone job, but it not sure which companies will conduct a credit check. This company only hires in the following states: Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Montana, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, and Texas. Pay is $9 per hour and includes paid training with no credit or background check. Even though this a seasonal work at home job, these opportunities can be turned into full-time positions.

Asurion

Asurion is a technology company that offers home based positions in the US. They sell insurance for electronic devices such as televisions, cell phones, computers and more. You will be assisting customers regarding anything from lost, stolen or damage mobile phones to malfunctioning computers or TVs. Asurion pays their customer care agents around $9 per hour. You will need to be flexible with you schedule because there are many different hours of the day you may be working. Bilingual Agents are much needed.

Home Shopping Network

Home Shopping Network (HSN) is a very well known company that offers home based sales and customer service positions. Agents working from home will handle sales transactions, customer concerns, and upsells on merchandise. The positions are only available in the following areas: St. Petersburg FL, Roanoke VA, and Nashville TN. The pay is $11 per hour for the customer service positions, and $10 per hour for sales agents with paid training. VoiceLog

Voicelog is a company that hires independent contractors to handle incoming phone calls for third party verification. Alorica at Home is a virtual call center, similar to Liveops and Sykes Home, that recruit agents to handle incoming customer service based calls at home. This company allows you to be very flexible by allowing employees to choose their own hours. The pay is not specified on the website. You may be compensated by minute, per call, or, a guaranteed hourly rate, It varies based on the program and schedule you work. The company hires agents as employees and offers some benefits. No credit or background check is required.

Working Solutions

Working Solutions is another virtual call center that recruits agents to handle sales, reservations, technical support, and customer service. Work from home agents usually need to be available to work at least 20 hours a week.The pay varies and can range anywhere from $7 to $30 an hour depending on the type of project you apply to. Some positions handle incoming calls while others make outgoing calls. Agents are hired as independent contractors and are not required to complete background or credit check.
